I've spent a lot of money at the dealers just like so many others. Rarely any 20% discount anymore, no more HOG member discount, costs of everything in the dealerships have risen. (But for the most part, it isn't just HD) Go look at the price of a new car/truck. I used to buy some gifts for friends/family from the dealer, I no longer buy myself or anyone else things from the dealer. Thought about upgrading my bike but with what they are asking for for these new bikes. No Thanks, I'll wait for a couple years and buy a garage queen. I'm glad there are some who don't care and are willing to pay all the new prices and no discounts to keep the dealers open. I'm just not one of them.

I also do not take my bike to the dealer for service. I do what I can and what I'm not comfortable with I have an independent mechanic that does the rest.

That makes sense. I have had other stuff where they sandbagged, and I got it early.

Actually I had heard rumors that Harley was going to lean on them.

I called the dealer I normally order from and they were same as local dealer, which never was anything off. $250 for a fuel pump. I thought another dealer was over $300, but that was last year and I could be wrong.
