Default Pics of my 2011 FLTRU with new Cee Baileys 15" Dark Smoke Windshield

I have to say I am impressed, customer service was first rate, shipping was fast, it's the thickest windshield and has the best finish I have bought, and I have bought several over the last few years. I can't wait to be able to go for a scoot. Damn weather isn't cooperating though go figure. Stupid winter....

Great improvement.

I thought about adding similiar to my URG. The dark smoke looks great, can you see through it well enough or does it impead seeing the road?

You can see through it just fine. I looks dark inside my shop but not so outside. Don't get me wrong though its not clear but its not black either and it looks killer.

Great choice! You and I had the same timing. I just installed my new Cee Glide shield 3 hours ago. Dark smoke but only 13". I really wanted to keep the killer look of the 12" KW I've had, but with quieter air and boy did I get it. 13" on an 09 frame and fairing isn't going to remind you of riding in a car, but it is much quieter then the KW with much better protection. Above 70 mph there is wind for sure, but I love it. It's a motorcycle. I have not doubt you'll get a nice calm pocket with the 15". The quality of this shield is 2nd to none. On the road you can see through it, but there is no way I'd do that on a regular basis.

Pointman, Great pics! Currently have an XL Clearview on mine for the cold weather, looking to get a Cee Baileys this spring. When you take it out for a test, let us know what you think of the wind protection and any buffeting. Also, how tall are you, and can you see over it? Thanks.

I am 5'11" with a 32" inseam. I sit on a C&C fastback which sits me lower and back then stock. Since I have the stock bars I do hunch forward a bit which lowers my head. Up to 60mph it is very calm and pleasant. I can feel wind on top of my helmet above 60-70 and some air starts to move around but it is nothing like the KW 12". Way more quiet than the KW. above 70 air flow is very evident, but calm compared to KW and still much quieter. I can go 80 without discomfort for a long time now with this shield and the looks are killer. If I had a RGC I doubt any wind would get to me since it is lowered in the back, taller fairing in the front.
