Default Mini Beast Air Horn Question

Does anyone know if the Mini Beast Air Horn can be used with other horn covers? Specifically, I have a Kuryakyn Horn Cover on my Street Glide. If buy a Mini Beast Air Horn, will I be able to use the horn components with my horn cover rather than the Mini Beast cover?

Here's the link to the Mini Beast Air Horn site:

The only way to use another horn cover on a mini beast would be to custom fabricate it.The mini beast cover fits exactly to the body which holds all the wiring, relay and horn components.

Be aware the chrome mini beast is VERY heavy. Had it on a 2007 CVO RK and the bracket broke due to vibration and the weight of the horn.

I used the cover that came with the mini beast and bought a brake caliper insert (stick-on) to somewhat dress it up. I'll post a pic. if ypu are interested.

The basic mini-beast horn is very bulky. I ended up buying a MB2 to get over the packaging problem. The horn itself is a Stebel and can be bought cheaply without any fancy cover, if you want to fit one inside something else. You can also separate the horn from the air pump if that makes things easier. That has been covered before and the original cowbell used to house the loud part. Search on Stebel for older posts.

I took the cover off of my Mini-Beast and mounted it behind the right saddlebag, fits perfect and is still loud enough to wake people up.

Thanks for the horn idea. My horn was filled up with water during a recent ride. I have been looking for a good replacement, I think this one fits the bill.
