So what's it worth? 100K 02 FLTR
I've got a 2002 FLTR with 100,000 miles. I just updated it with the 07 camplate, oil pump, new lifters, new B148 bearings, Andrews conversion cams and the rest of the Herko kit. It's got the King tour pack, lowers, chrome front, 95" with HTCC head and lots of other extras. I wouldn't be afraid to jump on it and head anywhere.
What do you think it might be worth? I'm thinking about buying a new bike and I'm trying to figure out whether I should trade, sell locally or keep this for my everyday bike.
What do you think?

I'm not saying I'm right at all, it's just some .02...
Having just traded in a 22 yr old glide for an '11 FLHTX 2 weeks ago, unless you are 100% prepared to go in with a very low number for the trade-in value and bargain from that perspective, you will just get completly pissed off if trying to trade it in for maximum cash.
I knew my bike's weaknesses and the engine cases for those years were a problem. I knew going in what my minimum would be and was able to negotiate and get it, so I was ok with their offer and had planned the whole purchase with that low trade-in value from the get go. Getting a laundry list of other things that they found and did not like was easy to deal with...
The dealer will take your bike in and they will go through it in detail and they will come back with an entire list of things that are worn out, etc.. All in an effort to suck as much out of the price as possible. That is just how it is, it is a business , it is not personal. You have a 9 yr old bike with 100k and I'm sure it is a kick as ride, but to them it will not be.
If you not prepared to get a low number for it, I'd recommend to sell it locally or online to someone who really digs it and will pay a fair price for it - and then take the cash to buy a new one.
As far as what it's worth, I'll let others with more experience of buying and selling the early 88"'s chime in, just wanted to give you some recent experience on the trade-in to vs. sell it part of your question...

For the most part, all the money I have put into it I consider to be maintenance. I will probably put the Ultra seat back on it and sell the leather Road Zeppelin seat on the forum. I'll let the FatCat go with the bike.
