Default h-d ride planner

Hi
I made a day trip on H-D Ride Planner.
When I tried to download it to a Flash Drive, TYRE 8.0 pops up.
It says I have to get a Google API key.
I have to give it a credit card number to put on file.
It says I get $200 free usage a month

What is this?

Sounds like Tyre is trying to open the file, not just downloading to a USB drive.

I would disable or remove Tyre. Google decided to monetized Google Maps in the spring of 2018. Any program using the Maps API is now required to purchase access.

Use the Honda ride planner. It’s easier to use and all free.

As long as it's a GPX file, I don't see why not.

For normal use, there are no CC charges for using Google Maps. It's only if you use it on your website, if you have one.

After a quick look, Furkot has stopped using google maps and has lost some functionality. Honda trip planner is using google maps.
