Thought about just PM'ing Carl on this one and I bet he will be the first to respond, but I thought I would put it out there for the others here interested in the audio stuff, and there is lots of it lately.
I am sending my HK in to IronCross and having some work done and also adding the front and rear preamp outputs. Question is, do the high level, or regular amplified speaker leads still work while using the low level outs?

I think i just found my answer in a thread called Stereo question. Looks like they will remain hot even when using the low level outs.

Yep, I plan on calling him in the AM. I will keep ya posted. I did a little more reading this evening and I might be ok going with a plug and play type of kit, to feed the amp with that is. Will update after I call tomorrow

The HK amped speaker outputs are not effected in any way when you ad the low level outs. So yes you can still use them for some fill or whatever in addition to amplified speakers with the low outs.
