Thanks for the clarification "The Big Brukus!" I understand your reasoning and any businessman needs to make a profit. I like many of your products and have ordered and use them on my 3 Harley's. I just cannot justify the cost for what little soft surfaces I park on. I carry my Jiffy Stand Puck with me all the time just in case.
Now the new product you came out with that locks the Hard Saddlebag lids for pre-2014 Harley's is of interest. I tried on my Ultra to pop the lid from the rear brackets. I would have to destroy them to pop the lid, but thieves don't care what they damage. Cost is a factor as I said before to Kay. I still mulling that one over. Thanks for your service as a fellow Navy Veteran. Pirate Also appreciate that about the costs. Totally understand. We really do try and keep the costs as low as possible. Just the plating costs on the HardbagDefender runs our costs up there. But it's all a part of producing the product. |

We actually took this product off the market because we were not making any profit. At that point we had a lot of riders and dealers requesting we make it again because they told us it was their favorite product that we make. They said price it at what you need to and those who want it will pay it.
So we did. We priced it at a point that we could actually make some profit and whatever we sell, we sell. We would like to sell it for less, too, but we simply can't afford to. And we understand that the it won't be for everyone. Wish it could be. I just ordered my replacement. I see you appear to have thickened the shiny bit and added some screws to hold it on. Even at nearly $100, for me it is well worth it: I never have to fuss or worry about my bike's "footing" with the jiffy stand down! |
99 bux!? I think I'll stick with the coaster.

Do they not make these for the 06 and older anymore?

I'm glad you brought it back! I bought one of the first generation Kickshoes back in 2012. The shiny metal popped off after the first couple of months, but my Kickshoe has served me well for over 45,000 miles. It finally wore down/broke: note that I "drag" the shoe now and then on aggressive lefts, which I'm sure shortened its life.

$pendy little bugger...guess this is why I like having bagger to haul HD's little/cheap plastic kickstand (aka "jiffystand" for newbies). It's there if I ever need it...:D

Bought one a couple of years ago. Love it. Also have the saddle bag and seat antitheft safety torx fasteners. Here's a pic of my kickshoe:

I had one of the originals on my Road Glide. Highly recommend these even with a higher price. Beats the hassle of trying to position something under the stand when you're on soft ground. I wish they had them for Softails.

Any redesign for the 110 motors?
