Have you taken the outer fairing off to see if the fairing mounting brackets are ok?

Wouldn't the dealer have fix any recalls prior to sale if the recall was made prior to the purchase date of the bike? The fuel tank recall was in nov '09 purchased the bike in June 2010. Or is that to much to expect from the dealer? I would not be surprised

As noted in this other thread, there's an HD service bulletin on the subject. My '09 Road Glide has the same issue and I have yet to deal with, so I keep my hands on the grips.
I did search for recalls and service bulletins and the only one that comes up is for the fuel tank brackets.

If you've never done this before, put something soft on the front fender...trust me. Check it out in there. I had both of mine crack and replaced under warranty.

My last bike did it and I never could figure it out. It was fine at higher speeds it only did at at slow speeds. I couldn't feel any shake or vibration when I had my hands on the bars at any speed.
My new bike doesn't do it. Smooth and straight with hands off at all speeds.

Mine shake pretty good at idle, especially the throttle side.
On the road with no hands,no shake at all.

Likely ain't related. Rough idle would shake the bars.

If you're saying it shakes at idle you should check your motor mounts.
