Can you ID this wire?

I can't find any reference to this wire in my manual. It looks just like the battery tender wire on my Ducati. It's on the right side and comes down the frame by the passenger peg. My bike is a 2011 Street Glide with the 103 power pak. Should it have a battery tender wire installed from the factory? Or, is this a wire for running heated seat or heated gear? Anyone?

Battery tender installed by dealer, or use for heated gear.

You need to look and see were the other end goes. If its a battery tender you should see it attached to the battery. Before you use it for power make sure it has a in-line fuse

it is for a battery tender. My 2011 has the same one and the dealer said they come that way from the factory now days.

if it's not factory installed a lot of dealers would install them as part of their setup before the sale. i've installed one on each of my bikes and move my battery tender to each bike for as long as it takes to maintain the batteries.

X 3 Battery tender connection. I have the same type on my Ultra, will work with either the two wire tender or the newer 3 wire type.

My dealer adds them to all new bikes. Battery tender it is.

If it is hooked up to the Battery you can use it to,
1. plug a 12 volt air pump to fill tires or air mattress..
2.Charge your phone..
3.But my O'ladies favorite is if her D batteries run out of her vibrator...She plugs in her 12volt HD (Heavy Duty)model and she is good to go!!! Man im tired after a long day on the road!!!More power to her!!! LOL......................o~`o.................
