Default what ear plugs you using?

I been getting the ringing in the ears lately, and wearing a half helmet isnt helping. I tried the foam disposables but they seem cumbersome and dont stay seated well. Any suggestions?

I have no problem with the foam disposables from Walgreens... but could you speak a little louder please? The ringing won't stop.

I would like to know about some of the more expensive custom fitted ones though, so looking forward to some responses.

Yeah, I been to bike events and seen where they make a molds of your ear, but they were like over 100 bucks and I tend to loose everything.

Think about a 3/4 or FF helmet. I wear the foam ones with my FF and they've cut down on the ringing in my ears. Wish I had started doing that years ago instead of thinking its a problem now that I've lost so much of my hearing.

I had the same problem with the ringing in my ears.....Tried plugs, but just didn't feel comfortable with them....Seemed like I couldn't hear cars and the bike was almost nothing. I now jsut use a bandanna around the ears and it works like a charm for me.....

I have custom molded ones from a ENT doctor I think they cost me 100 but I needed them do the hearing damage from work so they are dual purpose for me not just riding. Super comfy

I agree with JR Bass, I have a custom pair I had made about four years ago. Well worth the money, you can have them made by an ENT doctor or a hearing aid center.
