Default Docking Hardware off center

I noticed today my new 2015 dealer installed docking hardware is rubbing on the side of my fender. Now its an area that wont be seen but I am surprised to see it like this. There is more room on the other side. Can the docking hardware be centered up? Did the dealer install it wrong?

Take it back to ask the dealer. And don't settle for "they all do that". Look around and see for yourself if they are all wacked.

I have no experience with the '14-15. But I did have to shim up or tweak a couple of 09-10 baggers to make them sweet.
