Default Removing rubber grommets on saddlebags??

I recently bought the extended saddlebags from Milwaukee bagger...I am trying to remove the upper rubber grommets( the ones that hold the bags to the bike) from the stock bags..does anyone have any easy way of removing them--can they be removed? Also, can the lower grommets that are under the bags(resting on the lower support) be removed? Any help would be appreciated>>thanks in advance

yes and yes

just use a little flat screw driver and they come out - kinda squish them out.

Wow . . . really. No problem, just get a hold of them with some needle nose and yank them out.

Use some type of lube to install them into your new bags.

i know this is old but in case anyone is still looking fir advice, just did this today. Take the grommets out from the inside, not the outside... way easier since the rubber on the inside is thinner.

as for the bottom ones, theyre a huge PITA. I ended up tearing them off and losing the notches. I glued them onto my new bags.
