What did you do to your bagger today?
I was going to change the primary oil yesterday, and, like a dum-dum, I used a T25 bit on the derby cover screws. 4 of them were fine, the last one stripped just as I realized what was happening.
Tonight, I'm going to try cutting a slot in the head, then getting it out with a screwdriver. If that doesn't work, then I have an extractor kit hanging on the wall in the garage.
Anyway, I am going to replace the screws with some fancy new stainless screws from the hardware store.
On an unrelated note, my poor little 1998 Dodge Dakota truck officially was declared dead yesterday. I won't go into details on this thread, but suffice it to say I certainly got my money's worth out of it.
Not a great day for the resident mechanic at my home.

Just bought my Road King last June . A lot of work to get done for spring .... Did My stage 1 upgrade , replaced leather bags with Hardbags , picked up a set of aluminum rims . Started polishing them as well as the forks and rotors ... I'm sure I'm forgetting other things . . . Great way to spend the winter !!!
Stage 1
Polished rims and forks . also did the caliper covers .

Mounted my drink holder, mounted it to the lower because I don't like stuff mounted to the bars
Changed oil and filter today. Ready for next sunny day and it looks like next week for seat time.
I put 100 more miles on mine today going back and forth to work! 50 miles in the saddle is a good way to start and end your day.
I could not have said it better myself !!

We had 20-35 MPH winds today. Not a good day for two wheels. Even my Scion XB got blown all over the hiway. Good riding by Saturday. A great weekend to all. tp dd50

Miss mine from my '10 Limited. Bought an '18 Limited and it's no longer an option because of the fans.
