Finished installing the S&S "Power Tune Dual" head-pipes. Goodbye Mr. Catalytic Converter...
As you would expect from S&S, all the pieces are quality and well made. Install was simple and strait forward...I did have to fight a bit with the right hand muffler to get it on to the pipe. The tubing cutter had left it flared out some and I needed to file it down to get the muffler on. Other than that, everything fit fine.
Exhaust note is definitely different at idle. I won't know how it sounds out on the road till the snow melts next spring

Installed new lights from Custom Dynamics:
- LED front turn signals (amber with smoke lens)
- LED rear turn signals (red with smoke lens)
- Load equalizer
- Magic Strobe / Flasher
- Plasma Rods (set them up for run/brake/turn)
The lights look real sharp and are real bright.

Finally pulled the plug on the riding year. It's been on life support for weeks now. I just didn't have the heart to end it, but today I changed the oil, sta-biled the gas, hooked up the tender, and pulled on the cover. Over, done, fini!
Now, I'll spend the next five months or so living vicariously through you guys who are lucky enough to live where you can ride year round. Don't let me down. Keep those posts coming!

dropped off my rear fender and the new fascia for paint. I chose to paint the complete rear fender to fill in the three holes and to keep the new holes i drilled for the fascia support plates from rusting.

Upgrades to Glide
In the shop having a CB radio installed. Also bought Rinehart 4" mufflers and V&H headers for a true duel exhaust system. Installed highway peg bracket and moved the passenger peg to bracket and then installed passenger floor boards that match the Streamliner boards for the rider. Looks good.
