Had the starter rebuilt today, I just finished installing it, and what a difference it made, the bike jumps to life. Going riding tomorrow.

Glad you get to ride.... I am about 2 weeks away from being completely done. It has been a long 60 days. This forum has made it a little easier, but I am itching...

By the way my edge cut floorboards are on ebay. Check them out. Right now only 80.00 including the trays... ;-)

Have a great ride bro...

I've been waiting 3weeks to post in this thread again. Three weeks ago is when my simple install started. Today was my first ride since.

Installed Roland Sands Turbine AC. No issues.

Installed V&H Big Shot Duals. Lot of problems. First set had no threads in the sensor bungs. Second set was for the wrong year bike. Third set was the charm.

Installed Dynojet Powervision. Lots of problems. First it told me my device was married to another bike due to a software glitch in firmware update. Then my tune set DTC codes. Then my security system wouldn't disarm. UG.

But it's back on the road now. This weekend, bars and stereo upgrades.

went for a short ride....washed the red beast.....and tried "Pledge" to shine it up. Not only does it look outstanding.....but it has that lemon-y fresh scent.

Heading to Chicago from ATL next Thursday AM...........can't wait.
