Went to home depot and bought 4 speed nuts and 4 cap screws, 2 to secure my bags and 2 to secure my buddys. That was enough for me at 27 degrees!!

I took the sheet off it and put the new license tabs on it. I'm ready to go.

I got a letter from my insurance agent (Progressive), every winter we have a little chat about the bikes in the garage. I always forget to tell him about the 'tickets' until I hang up. My memory isn't what it used to be...

Finished installing a pair of Polk DXi 6.5" speakers in tour pak speaker pods from June's Upholesterory w/ HD's bass ports as part of my current audio project.

I installed a new shifter rod. Very nice piece for $35

installed my theft proof hardware for my saddle bags and put my powder coated backing plate for the SE ventilator back on the bike.

Installed chrome switch housings and new grips. Waiting for my inner fairing to come back from the painter then I can finish installing Hogtunes and in fairing antenna.

I started it and listened to the new FM107 engine. What an awesome sound!

Took it for a ride - 96 mile round trip to see family. Cold though - 41 degrees - so had the Gerbing gloves on.

44 degrees in Western Nebraska: slapped the bat wing on and rode !! (supposed to be 60 next Saturday)
