Shot him a line and he got back to me right away. Seems I am thinking he gave me the right idea to fix it. To much material. Pull some staples and should be good to go. He was willing to do it for nothing but cost of shipping which is awesome but he has me convinced I can do it myself. Thanks

I did it on a '05 RK but don't have any picts. The throttle cables would sometimes rub on the tank. Then there is the increasing the center of gravity issue that JCleary mentioned.

It does give the bike a little more attitude, makes it easier to clean the rocker boxes and probability runs a little cooler too.

Dawg you still want some pics. The above ones pretty much explain it all. I guess I don't understand the higher center of gravity that some speak of. 2" lift is not a lot. Whats the difference between having a guy with a 20lb beer gut on the bike or a skinny lanky guy cruising it. We are not going to the moon here.

Good deal. Got the seat fixed tonight as well. It was amazing how much extra material was in the nose of that thing. Thanks for the hook up with BadX. His fix worked perfect.

Interesting thread.

I had a 2" lift on my Superglide. I installed it because it made the tank lines flow into the seat better. Biggest benefit I found besides looks was making it easier to clean the front box.

Haven't given it much thought on the RK, but lately I've been thinking the look might be good.

Anyone done it on a 2010+ model after the recall was done?

I'm thinking I might give it a shot to see if I like it or not.

Do the tank lifts change the air flow in anyway to the Rider ?
