Yes, less air flows over the top of the tank at the front..instead there is more air flowing over the engine.

Can someone explain to me why you would want to raise 55-60 lbs (tank full) up two inches? I mean, these bikes aren't flickable to begin with... They are stable, but raising that much weight, which is already up there to begin with... I don't know, not the best idea in my opinion.

There are some pics in this video that show what you are looking for.
You can lift just the front of the tank and it does virtually nothing to seat fitment.
You can also add the Deluxe option, which lifts the rear a little also, that will move the front the seat up a bit.

Both will affect your gauge a little. Both will reduce your usable capacity by about 1/4-1/3 of a gallon, which is irrelevant unless you run your tank dry.
