Default Tank Lift-Ultra

Since I have the gas tank off because I am installing heated grips....Thinking about doing a tank lift on my '07 Ultra. Did one on my softail a few years back and seen them on Sporty's, etc. But not much on Ultras or touring models. Any thoughts or pix's? Worth it or not worth it? Height suggestions, 1", 1.5", 2", or 3"

Thank you in advance for your feedback...

2" on mine. Lifts it just enough to see the rocker boxes a little more. They are much easier to clean now as well..

18BKLR, I'd be interested in seeing more pics of the scoot with the lift on. Up close from a few different angles if you could.

Will do. I am out of town now but will try to take a few tomorrow. Weather is getting nicer so I might even be able to do it in the driveway. Stay Tuned

Coming from a guy with orange tape that looks like barbed wire plastered on his bike I don't think many people will share the same definition of cool.

Yes I know about the wrinkles. Been trying to solve that with the Tallboy seat since I got it. They were there long before the lift was installed though. I can't say they even got worse when I installed it. I really don't think they did. My buddy has a Tallboy on a 06 and his has the same deal. Not sure what to do about it. Any suggestions?

Can someone explain to me why you would want to raise 55-60 lbs (tank full) up two inches? I mean, these bikes aren't flickable to begin with... They are stable, but raising that much weight, which is already up there to begin with... I don't know, not the best idea in my opinion.
