im in the middle of installing a set of chrome lowers on my front forks. its a 2006 roadking, removed the forks from the bike fine. drained fluid and removed both fork nut a retaining clip from fork seal, removed spring, and as service manual reads use upper and lower forks as a slide hammer to seperate...thats the problem they WONT SEPERATE im busting my a** and nothing happining...can anyone help me get these things appart your help will be greatley appreciated
you need to removed the allen head screws underneath the sliders be careful not strip them ,also replace it with new ones to be safe any dealer got those on stock all the time
