Default move 09 license plate under tail light

Does anyone that has moved their license plate from on top to under the tail light on an 09 Road King have part numbers to share? I want to move mine but don't want any holes or plugs showing.

I moved the plate on my 09 EG Classic using the standard Road King signal light bar.But you are going to have holes where your bracket is mounted now.

I dont see any holes on yours. It looks great , are you saying the holes for the license plate holder will show? What I was hoping is maybe moving the light up to cover the license bracket holes and maybe the license plate would hide any holes from the light bar. Does that seem doable?

My plate was originally attached to the bottom of the tour pac,so there are no holes in the fender.I think the only solution for you is to fill the holes for you plate bracket with some plugs.

i did mine on a 2005 and it didn't leave any holes but I had that loop bracket. What I really wanted to tell you is that I used a Street Glide Bracket, Taillight, and turn signal kit that I got used off of ebay. Way cheaper than a new HD Unit, and worked perfectly. You should be able to do the same.

Order these Items from American classic and you will be satified. The lay down tail light comes with an LED Bulb and lower tag light window. I put it on a 2010 cop electra glide. The tag bracket mounts with the turn signal mount bolts. Drag Specialties catolog is where the bracket comes from and is manufactured by Lazer Star.

Order:
Qty. Part Number Product Name Unit Price
---- ----------- ------------ ----------
1 1905-0000 LICENSE PLATE MOUNT $51.56
1 2010-0648 LAYDOWN TAILLIGHT LENSES $25.95

theres an embelm on hd catalog in the dyna parts, find the dyna kit that relocates the plate on the side, then dowload the instructions on pdf and you will find the pn of the embem that is used to cover the 3 holes. it looks nice and sharp.

another thing you can do is just left the plate where it is, i like it up, harleys always had the plate up while japos place it down...

Cyclevision makes a chrome and a black pyramid to cover the holes; the black looks pretty good on vivid black.
