Default fairing braces

so i takes my fairing off today for some new speakers.
and guess what .a trip to the bike shop for two new fairing braces (top)
don't know how long they have been that way .never noticed any vibration or
anything .anyone else with the 09 model experience this yet?
thought they were supposed to be updated .

I thought they fixed that back in 07....

My 09 had the older style. Got replaced with the new ones.

I checked mine a few months ago when I put bars on and they were fine, but the design didn't look any different than pictures I've seen of the ones that broke.

Been lucky with all most 85K on my 02 Ultra have not broke on yet. Now I said something one will break tomorrow.

Took my fairing off today as well and found the right side braces broke. Have no idea how long they've been that way. Searched the forum and found that it is a common problem. Most fix with a $2 "L" bracket from hardware store and that is exactly what I am doing.

So apparently the 09's didn't have the new style. Mine was replaced also.
