It's been a great 4 years in the touring section...but it's time to change gears...picked up an 08 Cross Bones and will be spending my time in the Soft Tail section. Not getting rid of the Glide but it has all the mods done that I want to do for the time being. I'll be checking in once in a while to check out the latest mods to the baggers...and I'll still be available for the paint codes. When I get the X-Bones done I'll post some pics on the Bagger section if you'll let me..lol.

I hear ya. Since I picked up my FXR, I find myself elsewhere. This place has seen better days, and I get tired of handlebar, oil, exhaust, seat, blah, blah, blah, threads. Just ask Dawg, he's now a moderator on a different forum :)

If I could afford 2 bikes,the Cross Bones would be the other one.Have fun.

Well when you get tierd of that buzz in your handlebars from the balanced engine you ll be back into your bagger in no time. Dont get me wrong I used to own an 08 crossbones very fun bike but still just a softail. Its got the looks just not the function of a bagger. To each his own as long as your having fun.

No disrespect...I've met a lot of great people on this site and have got a lot of good information from those same people...I'm not kicking the Bagger to the curb...and I know you didn't say that...I needed a change...getting a little older and have a few things on my "bike bucket list" I wanted to do and the little women understands...hell...the next place I may end up in may be the Trike group...

Exactly why I'm not getting rid of my Glide...that's my Bike-O-Lounger.

Happy to see you have a second bike, I often go in other areas on the forum just to see what's going on. Good luck with your new toy, don't spend too much....lol.

Hey, I luv my RGC, but still can't get the Dyna Wide Glide outta my mind. I first became interested in Harley's about 10 years ago. I rememeber going into a dealer and the Wide Glide had me at hello. I remember putting a deposit on the 2003 anniversay model, but having to back out due to other financial obligations. I doubt my finances will allow for a 2nd HD for some time, but there's always a chance. By the way, the Denim Black Cross Bones is one sweet bike, but I only like the Denim Black. It just looks plain Evil, especially once moded with denim black exhaust and a/c. Enjoy...!!!
