Substitute for Deutsch Terminal Crimp Tool? (HD-39965)

I've done a lot of crimps on my bike with the Philmore WS26, about $10 from Fry's Electronics:

The WS26 ususally required some minor dressing of the crimps.
I later purchased a Sargent 1028ct, about $25, which does the job better; usually no dressing is required of the crimp:

While I use solder and heat shrink to join wires, I don't trust myself to solder pins and sockets to create a mechanical connection.
Also, pins and sockets are easily ruined, so buy a couple extra before starting a project; you can always return them for a refund and they're cheap.
