Well I dont have it mounted but my wife carries the Kodak play sport. We love it because it is a 5Mp camera, shoots in 720 and 1080 as well as 720 60FPS which is great for faster action like on a bike, as well as a lower mode for saving space on the card and the biggie - its waterproof so if its raining it still takes great pics... plus its pretty inexpensive.
I have the GoPro Digital Hero Camera. You can choose video, still or a photo every few seconds. It works reasonably well although I would like it to have less of a wide view lens. It came with a bunch of different mounts. I like it mounted on the engine guard because it shows some of the front wheel and shock - nice effect.
I use Flip video mounted on the handle with Ram mounts works real good on smooth curvy roads but bumpy road O boy give you head ache to watch it. It's very inexpensive HD camera but in passenger's hands it will work great.Ram mount will work with any camera and also tough like a rock and cheap NO chrome just rugged.
I have the GoPro HD Hero - wide. It works great. Like others have said, it comes with a number of mounts and there are also upgrades that you can purchase for it. I also got a handlebar mount and frame mount. I don't have the lcd screen for it yet, but that's available as an upgrade and I'll probably order that in the near future.
Watching your video REALLY makes me want to ride... It's been in the 20's here with snow. I even put ice melt on our county road to make a path for 2 wheels to ride.
How did you get the video so smooth? I didn't see any vibration from your bike in the video, and I know it's not a Honda.
