Default Mobil 1 15w-50 5qt at Walmart $5.00

My local Walmart had these on a clearance section end in the Automotive section for a screaming deal. Bought the last 7 they had left on the shelf. For the guys that are using this oil check your local store as they are not carrying this weight oil in their current line up.

why do you use auto oil instead of v twin oil? HD reccomends 20w/50. would not take chances on auto oil...

Plenty of info on this. The 15w-50 is perfectly fine.

WalMart quit stocking the Mobil 1 15W50W late last summer. So you got a good deal. Don't know why they quit, but it's not available anywhere from them. I found a good deal on it at O'Reilly's Auto Parts store last week on sale for $4.99 qt. Been using it for years. It's good oil.

Thanks, I'll take advantage of that one! BTW, my monster ovals are working out great. Thanks again.

SpiderPig, I just checked it out, and O'Reilley's is NOT on the promotional retailers list that applies to the rebate. Thanks for the tip, but I guess I'm going to have to be happy for getting it at $4.99 qt.

Not really, I'm still looking around. They're expensive little devils, and I'm really starting to like the black more and more. I did find some, but they have a little road rash, might still make the switch as the scratches are on the bottom side so I'd never see them, but haven't been around for a week so I have to see what the latest is on them. Ride safe.
