Detachable tour pack

There are the same amount of wires after making it detachable as there were before
but seriously.... with tour pack on, run the wires where they were before. No more, or less visible than with it "fixed".
When the tour pack is off, coil up what stays on the bike and put it under the seat on top of the battery area.

I just purchased a tour pack for my road king , also got a run / turn / brake light for it . The wires run under the back rest and under the rear seat to the connector above the battery , I will just unhook it when it's off the bike , easiest way I could think of doing it .

I put a piece of Plexiglass on the bottom of the TP that sticks out @ 2.5" and it is cut on a radius to match the back of the seat.... and I cut slots in the Plexi that allow for velcro wraps to tighten everything down up against the TP
then you need to put the leather flap onto the lower and it covers the wires.
