97 Big bore build in Roadking opinions
05 FLHRSI Road King Custom

In process of this build with NRHS here in Colorado. Would like some of you opinions on what to expect ect.I ride 2 up 50% of the time at 5280 elevation here in Colorado.

97 Big bore build
Stage 2 Head work in valve 1.900" exh 1.615"
Crane valve sprrings
Valve guide 5/16 intake and 5/16 exhaust
3.938'-9.8:1 CR-Flat top
Having my jugs machined to spec as well as my heads.
Hurricane Piston kit
fueling Lifters
S&S 510 cams and gear conversion
.030' top end gasket
Oil pump shim
Rinehart true duals
SERT/Dyno when finished..

how'd the build end up?

I was thinking about the using NRHS as well.

Did you get it dyno'd? numbers?

Also, did you do the work yourself or pay for the install? Where/how much did this project cost ya?

I'm in CO too, so any and all info you've got would be a huge help!

 

I would go with a higher lift cam than a 510.....

 

How much more lift can he go with that? .525? that would be .015 more, lift is not what makes the cam, duration is, how long the valve is open.
