Default 120R, Which Exhaust??

Got the 120R installed. Currently running the SE Heavy Breather, SE Tuner, and V&H Power Duals Head Pipe with Bassani Slip Ons. Current dyno was 119hp/110tq.

Is the exhaust killing my power? Any help? I heard D&D Boarzilla would be better?

something is wrong with those numbers even with that exhaust set up. Did you have it dyno tuned yet or just a pull to see what kind of numbers its putting out. I'm running the Boarzilla on mine and when I picked it up with a break in tune it was 125/125. I just dropped it off tonight at the dealer so they can do a complete race tune on it tomorrow.

I wish I had those numbers on my 96", but something is amiss. Either that, or it's a very true reading on a "non-optimistic" dyno...one that most people never see.

119hp/110tq was the initial tune with 0 Degrees timing. I was gonna drive it 1,000 miles then do an oil change before getting into timing

Go with the D&D if you want to squeeze it all out, but stick with what you like for sounds/look if you aren't going racing. That being said, I went with the D&D and it's awesome for performance.

I would like it to be a little louder. Is there any way to remove the baffle out of the Bassani slip ons and just remove some of the packing?

Why would it be 0 degree timing unless you need to set it to the advanced mode on your SEPST so you can see total timing.

One of the base canned maps should get you a lot closer to mid-upper 120's.

I've got a Bosszilla on one 120R and a HO Pro pipe on the other 120R. Better numbers with the D&D. I like the D&D performance much better Pro pipe is heading for the junk pile.

If it was mine I would break it in on the dyno with a good tune and a controlled enviroment. I can't fathom sending a new motor out the door with a crappy tune for breakin. I would invest some money in a good 2into1 as well, why leave a bunch of torque and horsepower on the table after investing all that money? Oh and I wish that 120 was mine!
