I'm going for a road trip this morning for a bit. My interest is what type of Range a guy will get.

I'm going to presume 200 mi for now and see...

Oh trying Metzlers for the first time (other than OEM Dunlop tires). Not longer lasting... But stickier.
I love the 120R.

I'm not all that worried about drive belts. Boss Hoss runs a belt on their 700+ hp big block chevy bikes

More interested in engine longevity and reliability then tire, belt, fuel or any other stuff.

Update - 4000 miles, she is still kicking ***. Haven't changed the clutch just got use to the SE pull. Need a new back tire and not sharing the dyno numbers but your welcomed to stop by and check out my bikes rearend. LOL.

Doing about 1,00 mies this weekend. All I have to say is just get the engine and stop f*cking around. My ultra is the perfect Harley.

That belt is way thicker and wider than the new 1'' elastic band on the new touring bikes. If you look at the way the one is tracking on your pulleys with the new cam adjusters you'll be upset. I spent a couple hours getting the rear axle cam adjusters and flat on the axle remachined so the belt runs in the center of the rear pulley and the axle inline with the front tire. That setup is junk from the factory from what iv'e seen. I'm in the process of having a rear pulley machined for a sprocket to change to chain on my 120R. The belt is starting to really take a beating with the 121 ft lbs of tq. the 120R can dish out.
