You guys who have the 120R, are you guys running 120R Crate Motor or 120R Kit ??

plt203 Looking at the Screaming Eagle Catalog the 120R Motor runs $5495, and the 120R Kit runs $4699.

the kit and the crate are almost identical in price once you buy the cases for the kit and figure some labor to assemble. Each option requires the purchase of some additional items such as clutch, a/c and exhaust. I believe the kit comes with the TB but you need to buy injectors, the crate you need to buy the TB and injectors

I used the kit. My dealer purchased the kit before the crate was available. Plus I feel better knowing that my kit was assembled by our techs and they were able to check all tolerances

5,000 miles no issues yet. The engine still pulls and I still need a back tire soon. Will bring the bike in for its 15,000 mile check up and have the engine looked over and tire replaced. By the way I did get caught in traffic long enough for the engine light sensor to start blinking, two separate times. With the ThunderMax that means that the bike is overheatting...got out of traffic and the bike cooled down. If you have a regular ECU you would never know there is no warning light. The bike still pulls and is a blast to ride. In short - all is well.

Just curious as to how much "top end noise" there is on the big bad 120R? My 103 "ticking" is bugging the heck out of me again........if the 120 was the same or even better, less, where do I sign?
