Default 120R mileage and reliability

Hi all just wanted to start a thread to report on what we owners of the 120R are experiencing as far as mileage and dependability of the 120R. My engine has been reviewed by the shop after 1,000 miles and I got a clean bill of health. Now with 2,500 miles, she is still trouble free. Gets as low as 28 mpg when I am really hard on it and 40 when I cruise with the crew. Now I have to work on getting this stupid grin off my face from riding this damn thing.

I don't have a 120R, just subscribing because I'm interested.

my last tank was 35.5 on a mix of conditions. A ride to work (pretty tame) and a ride to dinner with some buds (not so tame)

My 1st tank on my 120R was 34mpg. Mostly cruising at 75mph but I had probably 20miles of mixed driving.

Getting the same mpg as above but mostly 35 as I cannot control myself any longer.

I guess Id rather know how many miles you have on these motors instead of MPG. If I put one of these in my bike i dont think MPG would even be something I thought of...lol You guys are lucky, wish I had the funds as it seems like a great powerplant!

I have 4000 miles on mine so far. I rarely think about the MPG, but it's easy enough to monitor.

I will be curious about TIRE mileage from the 120 crowd at the end of the season. With that much TQ they have to eat rear tires.
