i'm using an open road outfitters trailer isolator on my 2011 road glide ultra, its the same isolator i used on my 2006 ultra classic last summer. the problem i'm having is everything works fine on the trailer, running lights, turn signals are ok, but when i activate the brakes, i blow the fuse in the isolator wiring harness. these two bikes are wired the same except the 2011 has a factory security system, the one with the key fob that disables the ignition when its out of range. i'm not sure the security system is causing the problem and or do i need a different wiring harness. anyone have a clue?

 

You may be plugged in the wrong plug,I was on my trike.Not the same as my 2007,call harness maker.

Your using the same type isolator module?Or the same module? Sounds like the brake and ground are shorted.

 

im using the same module that worked fine on my 2006 ultra.
