wow...
Just...wow.
Finished up the bar swap and putting on the +2 sweepers. While I expected them to be different, I never thought there would be so much difference. It's like night and day. I can actually lean back into my backrest now. It's hard to imagine 2" making such a difference (yeah, I know...that's what She said. LOL). The steering is also a lot lighter and more neutral now.
All the information needed, including part numbers was found here on the forums. Had to do some searching to put it all together in one spot for my needs, but sure beat paying the dealer $600 to do it!
Speaking of dealer...this experience has also shown me that my dealer obviously has no clue how to adjust a clutch. Replacing the clutch cable meant that I had to do the adjustment. Something else where the difference is like night and day...the clutch and shifts are so much smoother now you'd think I put in a new transmission rather than just a slightly longer cable.
So, my thanks to all those that have blazed the path before and left the trail well marked for the rest of us to follow!
