Tour Pack or Dresser Bag?

For all of you that have used either style for long rides/trips which one would do you prefer the HD King tour pack or something like the Kuryakyn full dresser bag?

Why is it an either/or proposition?
Tour-Pak & a bag like the Saddlemen 4100.

If the Saddlemen bag is the one in your pic it's because I need that rear seat for the Mrs or my son depending on how's tagging along with me on the trip. Solo I usually just pack what I need in one saddle bag

+1, that's the exact set up I use, the bag makes a good back rest.

I'm sure the tour pak is more economical, I personally
prefer the 'old school' looks of the leather dresser bags.....

I had a chance to buy a color matched king tour pak a couple
months ago....my wife said she prefers the dresser bag, so
I passed on the tour pak.....For once she actually saved me money !!!!

I have an Ultra so the options are pretty open.
If I were you I'd go with a detachable rack and the bag you chose or something similar.
You can put a lot in those bags.

I am going to try the bag first. I like the idea of taking it off at the hotels for the night.

I use a large soft bag with a plywood bottom that fits onto the detachable luggage rack on my FLHT. Holds much more then a pizza box and removes quickly.

The wife hated the tourpak. Ihad to pack backrest in the tourpak when we traveled, what a pita. Go for the bag easier to remove and take in at night.
