Default Added a vent to a LRS Flat top shield

So I've been wanting a LRS Flat top shield for a while and after spit balling some ideas back and forth with them I decided to give it a try. I also decided to add a vent to it. I had the vent from a Clearview shield but all it is is a vent for an 1800 GoldWing. I used the Clearview shield as a template and made a stencil to transfer to the LRS. I cut it out with a dremel and it mounted right up. There is a small gap on the inside top due to the different curvature of the LRS but a little black silicone fixed that right up. I haven't riden with it yet but so far I'm happy with the results. This is an 11" in medium tint BTW.

I did the exact same thing on my 2010. Works fantastic! You will love it.

Hey...that's pretty cool and...love the road/bug goober on your bike. That's the way to run...no time for goofy cleaning.

I had the vent from a Clearview shield that I already owned but you can buy one for a GoldWing 1800 which is the same thing. Try www.wingthings.com

That's the proper website. It's actually a pretty nice vent.
