I have the arc audio mini amp and i just bought a set of polk audio db651s speakers and i dont feel like im getting my amps full power, after a phone call to arc audio i was told i need to find some speakers that are 2 ohm, i looked into the infinity speakers, they claim they are 2 ohm but in fact they are not, anyone know of some name brand 2 ohm 6.5 inch 2 way or 3 way speakers i can use other than J&M OR HAWG wired, your help is appreciated. This is all on my 2006 street glide, thanks

Just got off the Infinity web site and their 6 1/2" Kappa and Reference series speakers are rated at 2 ohms. Why do you say they're not?

Dude, how loud are you trying to play your music? I ask because the Arc, even driving 4 ohm speakers, is ear-hurting loud.

I'd suggest you check the gain setting on the amp before chasing speakers.

Focal makes a 2 ohm 6 1/2 speaker

 

I hear a lot of good things about the focal 6.5's myself.

 

Hertz 6.5"??

 

I have a set of Focal Polyglass 6.5s in my 2010 FLHX with an Arc Mini amp pushing them. They sound really good, but look into the Hertz too. The Hertz may be a little more expensive, but they sound really good.
