Default LED headlight and now no garage door opener

I have a 2006 CVO Ultra. I replaced the two headlight system with the new LED headlight, which is a one plug connection. I love the light but now my garage door opener doesn't work. Any thoughts?

I have the same issue with my garage door opener on a 2010 SEUC. Were you able to get a resolution after installing your LED headlight? Mine is the TL/Kuryakyn LED Headlight.

Yes, when you plug and play the new LED light it totally disconnects all wires to the garage door opener. There is no snap in connectors available, so I spliced all three wires (power, return, ground) from a active source to the garage door opener bundle. It didn't take that long, it was just confusing with no dealers around here had any idea. Hopefully this helps.

Just call and wake up the wife and tell her to walk down and push the button. If she tries to give you any grief just tell her to...Oh! I got to go. (Yes dear I heard you. I"m coming)

All matching wires have to be spliced together, or wired together. You can get an H4 Heavy Duty wiring Harness and just plug and play.

http://www.buyheadlightbulbs.com/H4-...p/cir-9102.htm

You still have to do a splice, but you don't have to cut the factory wires only one of the harness wires.

Default Found a solution

I had a daymaker clone that worked fine with my old transmitter. Just upgraded to a newer design which included a halo ring. Transmitter quit working. The problem is how the transmitter senses the toggling of the high beam. I had an older 4 wire transmitter in my bike which came with the '07. There is a newer design that only monitors the high beam which only has 3 wires. Power, ground, and (white) high beam. After syncing with the old receiver, everything working. Do not waste time putting in an inline resistor and some of the other fixes on YouTube. Spent days figuring out what was happening. The new headlight low beam stays on all of the time thus never triggered the transmitter.
