Default 110 ci Big Bore Kit question

If I could get it done for the same labor price as a 103" upgrade, are there any drawbacks in going with the SE 110" kit over a 103" kit?

Thanks,l

Bigger is better. If i'm not mistaken, once you go to a 110 you cant go any futher.Like you wouldn't be able to do a 113 after that.I could be wrong!! Someone will correct me if i'm wrong.110 is a nice power plant if its set up right!!! you ever thought about going to the 120 kit they have out??

You could do the fuelmoto 107" for probably less money, and get better performance. Just a thought. Also, if you go larger than 107 you have to have the engine cases bored. And I imagine that will have to cost cinsiderably more.

To go 110 you gotta bore the cases. So if you are splitting the cases you might as well go 4 1/8 bore or 113".

But if you are splitting the cases you might as well get rid of that flimsy stock crank and tapered rods which are junk. If you are doing that then you might as well timken the bottom end at the same time. If you are changing crank then you might as well go 4 5/8" stroker crank to get 124".

If you are going 124" then you might as well forget SE and go S&S as they give a full warranty but SE is for "racing use only" and no warranty.

Its a slippery slope once those cases are split!!

Seriously, stick to 103 - 107". These kits dont need the cases split and SE should give you a warranty on a 103, whereas there is nothing on the 110 and 113 kits, or the 120R kit for that matter. I seriously doubt a workshop is offering to split the cases and bore them for free. If they are and you dont mind not having a warranty then take them up on the 110" offer.
