Default From slip-ons to true duals

The bike was actually completely tuned when the Stage 1 was completed. Now I'm looking to take the Rush slip-ons off and install Rinehart true duals. How close will the tune be? Is a retune definetly needed?

Called the HD dealer that would be doing the tune and they said it would be close enough to ride it there for the dyno. What ya think about that?

When I put the TD on my Rd glide wth the SE air cleaner and SERT I road the bike to the dealer and they already had a program for it . I have no decl pop runs great and get 50 mpg . Plugs look good at every service. Put everyting on at 800 miles have 17 k on it now and it's getting ready to make it 2nd trip to the BRP so I would say it should be safe to ride to the shop

You will be fine to ride to the dealer. If you have the race tuner do what I did and buy the software and cables and tune it yourself. Since its been tuned already it wont take much to dial it in. Otherwise get done whatever you need then have it dyno'd once and for all. It will get expensive to dyno every time you make a change

Was thinking the same thing. I definetly want to do a cam swap. Was thinking big bore but not sure about the down time, might have to wait til winter on that. About 60 miles to the dealer.

Dealer should be able to do cams and big bore in a day. You can do it in a weekend by yourself. You would not want to ride it 60 miles with big bore and cams until dyno'd. I know some dealers offer discounts in winter. Also I have seen some include a dyno when doing the big bore.
