Not too concerned, doubt I'll be buying another Harley in the next year if I were to I'm sure it'd be used anyways.

maybe instead of water cooling the engine they should include a water cooled suit for the operator...I mean the problem is not the motorcycle its the driver.

I saw a write up on Harleys new oil cooled heads late last year in a magazine. Rider I think. These may show up soon. Still several years ago I also saw information on a patent for a reverse system from HD. Still have not seen that in action even on the CVO's. I am not holding my breath. It will all happen when it happens.

HD will probably go to a liquid cooled touring model in the near future. I don't plan to jump on the bandwagon anytime soon, I almost have mine just the way I want it, and barring a major catastrophy I plan to keep my bike at least another 8 years if not more.

There ya go. Go down to Walmart and buy one of those personal misting systems and point the nozzle at the cylinder heads. Done.

I would like to believe that this is just pre-cautionary incase the MOCO can't figure out another way to get past the EPA.

If there are even tighter EPA controls due soon, it could be HD's solution to yet more unwelcome heat on the rider. The system looks like it will take away heat from the exhaust ports, before it gets into the pipes.

But don't you just love patent-application-speak?! Has anyone waded through all that? I gave up. There is a limit to how much 'wherein' I can take.....
