Steering head adjustment????

Hey guys I have an 08 EGUC and need to tighten the steering head. Can anyone tell me, because I looked in the manual and it doesn’t show and picture, or diagram. Can I get to the adjustment nut from removing the ignition and cover to expose the top of the forks, or do I need to remove the entire batwing?

Thanks for the helpful tips.

Yes, under the ignition switch cover. Are you sure that is the solution?

Im pretty sure, I have new tires, I put the rear end stabilizer on, everything it tight. And I have a little wobble on the freeway which I didn't have before started about a month ago. I’ve worked my way from the back to the front. Im pretty sure it might be the steering head. 43k miles on it and never had the front end tightened.

Im going to make a 1/4 turn adjustment and see if that helps.

When I do the steering head test, I get 3 3/4 swings and I have read there was an update from Harley to change the swings to no more than three. And it is recommended for 2 1/2 swings. I want to get it down to that and see if there is any difference.
