Hello folks, im in the market for a chopped/razor tour pack for my s.g. but dont want to pay h.d.'s $1500. Can someone anyone tell me who sells/makes the best after market plastic for harley's? Thanks in advance for the feedback!

do a search for tour packs and Amazon will have some less that $300. I've been considering one for trips. I usually run without passenger seat back and luggage rack. I would only use for my annual road trips or other trips. I know... I know.... not the same quality, and I know I get what I pay, but it's not something that would always be on the bike. In fact if it were simply flat black primer, that would be fine with me!!!
Just do a search and you will find other options. But if you want show room quality and perfect paint and finish, you would be better off buying HD unit or look for a used HD unit.

 

Try Cavalry Fiberglass. The have a website and they are on eBay. Good quality stuff and less expensive than OE.

 

I bought a used King TP from Cavalry Fiberglass for a project but changed my mind. It wasn't perfect but it will fill my needs, i was only planning on using it for long trips anyway. You won't be disappointed with their product. I bought both parts separately and i still need the hardware but I have a chopped pack that's never been off. My wife just need more room. Lol

 

Didn't take me long to find a secondhand genuine one for sensible money.

 

eBay is your friend. After market stuff will need to be painted to match, so go get some MoCo parts and paint to match your bike. In the long run it will be the best fit. Sometimes the MoCo does make the beast stuff for your bike, for me this is one of those times. Good luck.
