I have mine mounted with the long angled arms fairly low. I can either stretch my legs all the way out or keep my heels on the boards and put my toes/ front of my foot on the pegs.

My parts guy recommended the long arm adjustable mounts but I never could get them to work the way they were designed. Kept banging my oversize foot into them. I finally found a position that worked, but it's not the way the mounts were designed. Contemplating a different mount now....

Default What Difference Does It Make?

What difference does it make what someone else did? Seems to me it would depend on what style you like, what room is available to mount them and lastly but most importantly the position needed to make them comfortable for you!

I had a hard time getting used to highway peg they never seemed comfortable, just keep adjusting ride a little to give them a chance till you find a spot. Everyone likes a different spot I finaly settled on mine down low I get 3 new positions , with my heels on boards & toes on pegs , feet on pegs knees slightly bent ,or heels on top of pegs legs straight. The more positions you can get the better for the long rides.

I agree with you. After 14 + years of riding forward controls, I'm now in no hurry to take my feet off of my floor boards. A lot less stress on the back of my calfs.

Here's mine. They are the short 360's. I have them sitting low so that I can keep my heel on the floorboard if I want.
