Has anyone installed this new kit?

Center-Mount Auxiliary Running & Brake Light P/N 68000029

I have a 2011 Street Glide and would appreciate any install tips, guidance, or nuances (or nuisances) encountered during the install.

Also, do you have to take the rear wheel off to get to the turn signal bar mount screws?

Here is a link to the kit I am referring to: http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

I have this and it was a simple install, a bike lift would help, but not necessary.

Viper the tri-bar light upgrade is a simple remove the old and plug the new one in the same recepticle -- correct?

I plan on doing that upgrade also.

have not installed this kit, but in installing the curved license plate mount, you have to take the turn signal bar off. you do not have to remove the rear wheel to do that. it is easier if you jack up the rear end, but i can tell you that i didn't.

Unplug, unscrew, and replace with new tri bar. No need to remove rear wheel.

I have one sitting on a bench in my garage.... I have some Custom Dynamics LED signals coming UPS tomorrow.... waiting to put the center mount light on until I get the CD signals installed. It looks like the load equalizer may plug into the same place. Won't know for sure until I have both sets of instructions.

If I have to choose between the two..... the Custom Dynamic signals will be going on the bike. Those stock tail/brake/turn signals seriously suck big time.
