Default Help bike stalls!

I have an 07 ultra classic, mileage is 6547, the last couple of times that I have taken it out it stalls when i down shift for a stop. Fires right back up but I have to keep feathering the throttle, runs great on the road, just wants to stall when down shifting. I am running 93 octane for fuel, checked the battery terminals for corrosion, I put a fuel pack on this spring. pulled into the driveway last night and when it started to stall, feathered the throttle a little to keep it running after a couple of times at that it, set there and idled on the jiffey stand while i opened the garage door. Any Ideas?

Unplug the fuel pack and try it. May need a different downlaod. Sometimes process of elimination is the way to track down a problem.

do a search of IAC. If it's not the fuel system then this very well may be your problem. I've run into this problem with my '07. It seems the IACs used in the 07's typically displayed this problem. you can try cleaning it too. sometimes this helps. Take off your air filter and spray a little carb cleaner. There is a hole right in front of the butterfly. I think if you order the replacement part it's right around $40. Do you find this problem typically after you've done some highway riding and you're decreasing your speed from around 70 to 0? Shifting down into 1st it's as if the bike doesn't know where idle is?

stalls when down shifting from any speed, when pulling in the clutch, throttle response is right on when up shifting, when crusing throttle response is also right there. If i keep the throttle turned up a little when stopping it will eventually idle. I will unplug the fuel pac and try that.
