I am in the same boat. I did a lot of searching and there is a guy in Florida that paints them. He does it for $325 and that includes shipping. Then there is a $150 core charge. When you ship your inner back to him he will refund the $150. I am going to order one from him this week. Should have it in the next week or so. If you are interested at looking at his work and you are on face book. Do a search on painted Harley fairings. There is a lot to look at.

This is the guy that painted mine. I got 6 other members mostly from here to agree to get them done, we met at my house and he pre-painted 6 or 7 fairings, drove here from florida and swapped out 6 in one day in my garage. Really impressive to watch. Great guy and honest as the day is long. Puts all money he makes towards his daughters singing career. Colot match is exact. it was not HD paint as they would not sell it so he has it color matched elsewhere. Just shows how HD THINKS its some exclusive paint. They just miss out on the dollars by thinking they are so protective of their color.
