I installed one of these on my 2013 RK a few months ago, great item. love the tach, gas guage and display and found the gear indicator was more usefull than I thought.

Have one of these on my Fat Bob. Love it. Now looking to get a Road King. Thought about taking the speedo/tach off of the Fat Bob before I sell it. Only problem is the new speedo/tach is now married to the ECM, and will not work on a different bike. Sucks, I paid $300 for the thing and cant take it off and put it on a different bike. I wish there was a way, because I really do like it.

Agreed. I still like my Road King, but am thinking of getting a Road Glide down the road and I think "How will I get a gear indicator on that?"

Very useful.

I have one on my 08 and love it. Quick easy install and the color options allowed me to color match my flush mount fuel gauge.

Got one as gift from my lovely wife. I like the functionality and use the tach often for shift points. Having the RPM gauge allows me to maximize my bike's tuning.

Default Question on Speedometer combo

I have a 2012 Road King Classic. Installed the combo guage last summer. Works and looks great. I have about 1700 miles on bike since installation of speedometer. First time out this year noticed that the speedometer lights are not staying on. everything else is working fine. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I don't think plug is loose or everything would be intermittant not just the back light. Any ideas?

Here's a writeup I did on my new speedo tach which is another nice choice for a Road King or Softail.

I thought it was just me. But, now and then, if seems as though he light is not on. It acts as though there is a light sensor and that the light only comes on when in the dark.

If anyone has knowledge of this, ne way or the other, I would appreciate hearing it.
