Default '12 FLHX Riders Backrest?

Open to suggestions as to what riders' backrest will look best with the stock 2012 Street Glide seat. I'm considering the 'comfort stitch' as the stitching looks similar. Any photos would be appreciated.

Doesn't really matter. Get what is comfortable for the passenger. Then take it off when they aren't riding.

IMO, get the HD Adjustable. Doesn't Hd have a pattern to match the seat? I'm using the Adj. & It works great.

Don't know what pattern it is, but it's more or less plain. A friend gave it to me so all I had to buy was the mount. IMO a rider backrest kills the look of a Street Glide anyway. I love mine for comfort on long rides.....but just sayin.

Guys, thanks for the opinions. I know the Riders backrest doesn't exactly add to the lines of the Street Glide so I was looking for something that would at least look OK. I'm so used to a backrest for long distance riding, that I feel I need that extra back support. Harley does make a Street Glide pattern one, but it is not a match for the '12 seats, which are a more plain design. Again, if anyone could post some pics of their SG with what they have put on for a Rider Backrest, that would be helpful.
Thanks,
John

If you want it to match get the Street Glide style backrest. 51631-09A

Shooter,
That's the problem, the so called Street Glide one doesn't match the seat for the 2012. So I may be best to go plain as Mike suggested.

It should be the same seat as a 2011, unless it got changed. I just looked on the MoCo site, and the seat looks the same as the 11 seat. Can you post a picture of your seat?

Here's the Street Glide backrest on a 2011 stock seat

1st off get the Adjustable Backrest.

I got the "Smooth Style" backpad 52501-09A it will look fine with any seat you put on.
I use three different seats (stock '11 Street Glide, stock '08 Road Glide, custom Crock inlay) and it looks great with all three.
