Default skip the 120r

any particular reason why you want the 120r? You can get more bang for your dollar than than motorcycle can produce building a stock Harley motor.

Its actually pretty expensive to meet the same performance as the 120R, mostly because you have to pull the crank and fix the crappy stock crank when you go over 110hp otherwise you are asking for trouble. Most seem to think that having a complete take out motor to sell off sets the price quite a bit.

There are some dealers that offer 20% off purchases around the holidays. If you don't need it right away call a couple dealers in your area.

I'm looking for One for my friends 70 year old uncle. He insists in getting one, so i'm trying to help him out. I have a built 113 in my SG and yes they are expensive to build.

Lake Shore, as I mentioned.

I priced one on another thread a couple days ago.....$4800

Free shipping on all orders over $500 through end of September.

Everything sounds great except they don't weld the crank.

So...if it were ME......I'd get a complete gasket kit, and tear it down, have the crank welded and re-assemble....but that's just me.

Depending on what exactly you want, and how much of the work you are willing to do yourself, your stock case can be bored and converted for a "Lefty" bearing (TIMKEN), drop in a S&S stroker crank (Welded and trued), bore your cylinders a tad and have a 116.
